You’ll notice this from the first glimpse of the exterior of the property, and throughout the interior as well.
As soon as you drive up, you’re going to be wowed by the six-foot-wide lighted arbor that leads to the custom sone fire pit area. If you arrive at dusk, or just walk outside after dusk, you’ll be greeted with a magical scene. The arbor is covered in lights and so are the one-of-a-kind bird houses that are perched on mountain laurel branches that lead to the fire pit.
Once you arrive at the fire pit, you can turn on the string lights and have the most amazing setting for making memories with your family. Whether you want to roast marshmallows, make s’mores, or just hang out and reminisce, this outdoor space is one you’re not going to want to leave.
From the fire pit, you can walk down the flagstone steps to the “secret garden”. When you walk under the arbor, you’ll be transported to another magical place. During the day, you can catch little sunbursts peaking through the mountain laurel and in the evening, there are fairy lights in jars that hang from the mountain laurel, creating a surreal atmosphere. Have a seat on the bench and take in the beauty and peacefulness of this garden setting.
There are two back porches. The lower porch is where the hot tub is located. You can access it from the inside. It’s a private area with an Amish swing and a bistro table and chairs in addition to the hot tub. Turn on the string lights for a breathtaking experience. The upper porch can be accessed from either the den or the primary bedroom. There’s a grill, dining table, lounge chairs, and a game of giant Jenga and of course more string lights! The outside is so charming that you may never want to go inside when the weather is nice.
Once you do come inside, you’ll be blown away by the attention to detail. In addition to the thoughtful décor, we provide you with amenities to make you feel like you’re at home. Never be concerned about charging your phone or other smart devices. There are 2 charging stations in each bedroom, along with 2 in the den. Want to listen to music when you’re outside? No problem-we have a Bluetooth speaker for you. If you plan on going tubing, not only do we provide you with beach towels, but you’ll find a “dry bag” that you’re welcome to use as well so you don’t lose your phone or keys in the river. On those cold, wintery nights, wrap up in a waffle robe when you get out of the hot tub and stay cozy.
