Spacious and thoughtfully designed cabin 15 minutes from both Helen and Clarkesville. Both the inside and the outside are designed for relaxation and functionality. The kids will love the loft with the wall games. There's plenty for everyone to do and plenty of room to prepare the family meal if you want to stay in. Grill out on the upper porch and enjoy your meal with the seasonal mountain views. Relax in the hot tub, Amish swing, or the secret garden. Lots of hiking trails nearby also.

The inside and outside of Memory Maker cabin have been thoughtfully planned for your enjoyment. The fire pit was custom built for you to enjoy roasting marshmallows, making s’mores, or just sitting around the fire and making memories.

Memory Maker cabin is dog-friendly (with a maximum of 2 dogs).

From the firepit area, there are steppingstones leading to the “secret garden”. Walk through the arbor to a different world. It’s surrounded by mountain laurel, and you’ll immediately be transported to a serene setting like no other.

When you enter the cabin, you’ll be amazed by the spacious den and kitchen area. The kitchen table has seating for six, and there are 3 bar stools as well. The kitchen itself is well-stocked and guests have commented that it has everything they needed to cook every night. You’ll notice the corner cabinet in the kitchen. The shelves have been left empty, so you have room to store your groceries.

There are 2 sofas in the den, along with a smart TV. The coffee table has storage where you’ll find cozy throws and lots of games. There is also a selection of books if you want to find a quiet corner and spend a lazy afternoon reading.

From the den or the primary bedroom, you have access to the back porch where you have seasonal mountain views. Once the leaves begin to fall, you can see breathtaking mountain ranges. With four armchairs and a bench, there’s plenty of seating to enjoy all your meals outside when the weather is nice. Grill out, relax in the lounge chairs, or play Jenga or a game of cards.

There’s a loft bedroom with some really cool “wall” games, Connect 4, Scrabble, Tic-Tac-Toe, and Checkers. Both kids and adults will enjoy playing. Check out the custom light fixture hanging above the dresser in the loft. It was made from a mountain laurel branch found on the property.

Walk downstairs to access the lower porch, where you’ll find the hot tub, Amish swings, and corn hole. At the bottom of the stairs, there are hooks with additional towels for the hot tub. You’ll also find a couple of Eno hammocks there if you would like to hang out in the back yard. Grab your towel-there are additional hooks behind the hot tub, so it’s right there when you’re ready for it.

The airbnb was beautiful, especially at night with all the lights! It was well within the woods to feel private but close enough to a little city that we could enjoy our stay as we pleased!

Amazing place. Will definitely come back. I have nothing bad to say at all other then the drive is a little steep and gravel. You will need all wheel drive or 4wheel drive for sure. We struggled in our Chevy equinox.

We enjoyed staying at Lynette’s place. It was close to Helen and also close to lots of hiking trails and waterfalls. The home was very clean and everything needed was provided. Lynette had a lot of little nice touches and the outside was a great place to play games and hang out/enjoy. We would go back.
