Memory Maker is located in a quiet, wooded area of Sautee Nacoochee, approximately 15 minutes from both Helen and Clarkesville. Guests can enjoy a private mountain setting while remaining convenient to hiking trails, wineries, restaurants, shops and North Georgia attractions.
Getting around
A vehicle is necessary for exploring the area because the cabin is not within walking distance of Helen or Clarkesville and public transportation is limited. Access is by a shared, sloped gravel driveway; stay to the left when entering and leaving. On-site parking is available for guests.
Private, dog-friendly cabin approximately 15 minutes from Helen, featuring a covered hot tub, outdoor movie screen, lighted Secret Garden and inviting spaces for time together.
Memory Maker accommodates up to six guests in three bedrooms, with two king beds and one queen bed. The spacious living area, indoor fireplace, well-equipped kitchen and dining space make it comfortable for families, couples and small groups to relax and spend time together.
The covered lower porch is made for winding down after a day in the North Georgia mountains. Soak in the hot tub while watching a movie on the outdoor screen, or enjoy the peaceful wooded surroundings from the porch.
Outside, follow the steppingstones through the lighted arbor into the Secret Garden, gather around the custom fire pit or relax beneath the string lights. The upper porch offers outdoor dining, a grill, lounge seating and seasonal mountain views.
The loft bedroom adds a playful touch with wall-mounted Connect 4, Scrabble, Tic-Tac-Toe and Checkers. Board games, books and comfortable gathering spaces offer plenty to enjoy during quiet evenings or rainy afternoons.
Memory Maker welcomes up to two registered dogs with an additional pet fee. Guests also enjoy self check-in, reliable Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, a well-stocked kitchen and thoughtful service from a local, experienced host.

This place was so amazing. We loved the attention to detail and all the little personal touches. It had all kitchen and bathroom essentials. It was very organized and the decor was exquisite especially in the bedrooms. The patio with the hot tub and projector was our favorite way to unwind at night after long hikes. We also loved the lighting in the backyard and fairy touches. Absolutely fell in love with this cabin. Thanks for a wonderful stay

The home was perfect for my family! We made a last minute decision to go and before booking, I needed to confirm accommodations for a family member. Lynette responded promptly which allowed me to book quickly and know we made the right decision to visit. We felt at home and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with quality items we were able to use. The fire pit was wonderful, we loved how peaceful it was. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi, very clean and peaceful. I had a few questions while we were there and Lynette was prompt to respond. I highly recommend her home if you want quality time, peace and great getaway. We will definitely be back! Thank you.

We found the Memory Maker to be a beautiful, cozy, well appointed cabin with all the comforts of home, as the host left no stones unturned. The amenities and special touches provided abound. It’s private, peaceful, and only 15 minutes from town. We’ve stayed in numerous Airbnbs and this is now one of our favorites.
