A vehicle is necessary because Ridge Haven is not within walking distance of Helen and local transportation services can be limited. Parking is available for several vehicles, and four-wheel drive is not ordinarily required under normal weather conditions.

Ridge Haven is in a quiet part of Clarkesville, about 10 minutes from downtown Helen and close to restaurants, wineries, hiking trails and waterfalls. You'll need a car. There's parking for several vehicles, and four-wheel drive isn't usually needed in normal weather.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is well stocked having kitchen full of cooking needs, extra blankets, board games, puzzles, books, etc. Accurate listing and enough room for everyone to have their space. Beds were harder than we preferred but overall everything was amazing.

It is large enough for 10 people, and close to attractions near Helen. The view is amazing, and it is very quiet.

Lynette consistently checked in. She provided great local places to eat and enjoy. The place was absolutely beautiful and the view was phenomenal. I will be back.

Really enjoyed my stay. The only thing I would say I could complain about is that there were a significant amount of spiders on the property. I would say we encountered at two or three large spiders a day in the house for while in the hot tub.

We had an amazing vacation making memories. Our kids saw turkeys and deer in the backyard and saw snow fall for the first time ever. It’s bound to be a vacation they will remember forever. The house was amazing and the views were phenomenal. Very clean and spacious. The hot tub was great. The host was so informative and very communicative. We would 100% stay again.

This is the second time we have stayed here over the last couple years and it is still by far one of the nicest I've stayed at and I have traveled all over the world… Ridgehaven is a beautiful home with great amenities and breathtaking views… Only minutes away from downtown Helen as well as many other wonderful places and restaurants along with wineries and breweries…as well as historic sights and tours! I would love in this home, never mind rent it! LOL!
